The Sonnblick, that just loves its Tyrolean tradition is a friendly, family run, comfortable and very good quality 3 star hotel, with many excellent facilities for the guests to enjoy during their stay and where the staff and owners make time for their guests.
The hotel is situated in Plangeross, a small, charming and welcoming mountain village at over 1600 meters high. Throughout December Plangeross is famous for its Advent Festival and holds many social events.
The Sonnblick is a very well equipped 3 star hotel, with a
4 star attitude and set in its own grounds. As you will see from the pictures the reception, restaurant and lounge/bar areas are very spacious, comfortable and with open views of the mountains. Similarly the service, the choice of food and drink are just as would expect in a quality hotel. The rooms are en-suite, very spacious and of course comfortable with balconies and wonderful views. Last year the hotel completed bedroom refurbishment’s adding more extras to the already delightful accommodation. Guests can relax and enjoy the Whirlpool, Sauna, Steam room, massager and Solarium or just chill-out with a refreshing drink on the lounging beds after a days skiing or walking. A well equipped Seminar, conference and meeting room is available for teams, clubs and organisations that are using the hotel for special or organised events.
This hotel is an ideal location as a base for ski clubs and ski race training camps and many national World Cup racing teams use this hotel during autumn for pre-season training on the Pitztal Glacier that is open from mid September. There is a large ski storage room, heated ski boot racks, plenty of room to service skis, and leisure facilities to relax aching muscles. The free ski bus is just opposite and only 5 minutes from the slopes.

The Prices are daily rates per person for half board and includes a a large choice buffet breakfast, a delightful three course evening meal, use of the leisure facilities, a weekly toboggan evening during January and March and exclusive of € 1,50 per night **local tax for persons 16 years old.
