The people in the valley gave him the name Ötzi and subsequently Ötzidorf, a 9000m² archaeological open-air park, was set up, situated beneath the Stuibenfall, recreating the Neolithic period with a glimpse into the life of Ötzi. You can see authentically replicated Alpine huts, ceramic and bread making ovens. You will discover an old, long past era.
Pitztal offers the opportunity to various clubs for group or individual activities, a place to enjoy, get inspiration, to challenge your self and be at one with the natural world in the mountains especially those pursuing hobbies such as photography, painting, writing novels, or poetry etc.
